Let there be Bird Cages

What's a garden wedding without any bird cages? Bringing the indoors out makes it oh so comfy. Vintage or shabby sheik birdcages make beautiful and unique centerpieces. Easy to do too, just be careful not to over do with too many flowers, obscuring the bird cage from view.

Placing the flowers inside or outside through the bars, you can't go wrong. Alternating adds interest and charm and leaves no worries about matching the same centerpiece from table to table.

Adding branches or feathers scattered along the table adds to the natural setting.

Simple and sweet with just a few roses, hypericum berries and eucalyptus...

Or trendy and bountiful with succulents.

And while you're at it why not hang some of the cages from the trees, as many as you can!

With or without flowers it would look grand.

Even candles would look great but I'd recommend the flameless candles. They look so real no one would know the difference and you wouldn't have to worry about the wind blowing out the flames.

And then there's the cake...

  1. More, I want to see more! Really nice ideas. Now look for water themed ideas. They are going to look at a venue in St. Mary's near the water.
